Whether you're planning a true elopement or a micro wedding with your closest people, the experience is designed to be every bit as meaningful as a larger celebration. Because it is.

The Words & Light Package
A ceremony with meaning. Photography that's honestly yours. Everything taken care of.
Your Location
The choice of location is yours. Anywhere within roughly an hour of Newcastle. That covers the Hunter Valley, Port Stephens, and the Central Coast. We're familiar with much of the region and are always happy to make recommendations if you're not sure where to start.
Through our venue partner arrangements, we can point you toward options for location hire, catering, florals, and more. These are quoted separately, just ask when you enquire.
The Ceremony
Your ceremony will be around 15 minutes and is written and delivered by Monty King, Commonwealth-registered marriage celebrant. Before your day, Monty will take some time to get to know you, and what matters to you and craft a ceremony that reflects it. Down to earth, fun and personal with all the legal boxes ticked.
The Photography
Nicole Butler will photograph your ceremony and stay with you for 1.5 hours in total; covering ceremony moments, family portraits, and couple portraits.
Nic’s style is natural and documentary, with gentle guidance and direction when needed, while allowing the day to unfold naturally around you. She’ll capture and document all those real, in-between moments that make your day uniquely yours.
You’ll receive an online gallery of beautifully edited images, available to download and share with your family and friends.
You'll come away with images that look and feel like you.
Guest Numbers
Up to 20 guests are included in the package. If you'd like a few more, reach out, we're happy to discuss options.
Investment
The Words & Light package is $2,500 inc. GST. This covers your ceremony and 1.5 hours of photography, no hidden costs, no surprise extras. Venue packages and additional guest arrangements are discussed and quoted separately.
Availability
We take bookings Monday to Thursday. If you're looking at a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, we may be able to accommodate you if your date falls within the next three months, additional fees may apply. Get in touch and we'll let you know what's possible.
